生体認証として「耳」を使う

指紋認証、網膜スキャン、顔認証、音声認証などと発達した技術により生体認証は「もう十分でしょ！？」というくらい進化してきました。

しかし、どうやら生体認証は体全部を認証できるようにしたいようです笑

A new identification system uses your ear as the password, distinguishing between individuals by the resonation of sound in the ear cavities.
The earbud technology, developed by NEC Corporation, measures acoustic characteristics to recognize a person with more than 99 percent accuracy.
It doesn't require scanning, instead relying on an earphone with a built in microphone to receive and calculate sounds so it can be used during movement or while a person is working.

新しい認証システムは、耳の中の音の共鳴で個人を見分ける方法で「耳」をパスワードとして使います。NEC(日本電気)によって開発されたこのイヤホン技術は、音響特性で人を99%の正確さで認識します。

スキャンなど必要なく、その代わりに音を受け取って分析するマイクロフォンを搭載したイヤホンを使います。そのイヤホンをつけているだけで、人が動いていたり仕事をしている間でも生体認証を行うことができます。

The new biometric personal identification system measures acoustic characteristics within roughly one second.
A person's ear cavities have their own shape, unique to each individual.
The system transmits a few hundred milliseconds of sound signals from the earphone speaker into the ear.
An embedded microphone then receives the signals.
As this happens, a synchronous addition method calculates the average of the waveforms of the signals received, and eliminates the noise.
Then, it calculates how the sound resonates within the ear cavity.
Despite its many moving parts, the company says the system performs these processes instantaneously, within one second, to rapidly obtain measurements.

この生体認証は音響特性を約1秒ほどで認識します。

人々の耳はそれぞれ異なった形をしています。

イヤホンのスピーカーから耳に200〜300ミリ秒の音の信号を送り、耳からの音の信号をイヤホンのマイクロフォンで受け取ります。

いろんな動作がありますが、日本電機によると、これらの動作は一瞬(1秒)で終わるとか。
